So… This one is taking some time to be solved. What do you see in this frame?

Hm, at first I thought I see a jungle. That’s also where most of the guesses are going. Maybe jungle is the wrong starting point.

I do see a waterfall and a rather tropical forest. Some things I see, I can’t figure out. Close to the upper right corner, is that a person falling down? Not that a yes or no would be much help, but who knows.

I’d say it’s a rather new movie, 1990+ and it falls into the action genre.

I just don’t see THE clue that gives me something to work with.

“Romancing the Stone” has a great “two people falling through the jungle”. Surely you remember Michael Douglas landing with the face between Kathleen Turner’s legs. But this “two people falling through the jungle” (I like this designation) is the longest and apparently most violent I’ve ever seen. Of course that it’s only possible in a movie that doesn’t take it too seriously. They seem to get over this fall as if it was nothing.

The frame shows the end of the fall, just before they hit the water.

Damn ;) I had “The Rundown” on my short list, twice even. During my initial search and also again today, but I always immediately discounted it because I just couldn’t take a movie with The Rock seriously.

You’re right not taking this movie seriously but any movie can be a quiz. :) I’ll try to use any kind of film. Don’t discard anything!

I know, at the very least I do now. But my shortlist wasn’t that short and since I had never heard of The Rundown, I didn’t consider to guess this one. With even more research, I might have ended up watching that trailer… but I didn’t. Now knowing the solution, the action buddy movie genre seems pretty obvious to me, from that picture, but as I wrote before, I didn’t get that clue soon enough.
