    This, in my opinion, is an extraordinary movie.
    This music, played during the ceremony at the masked ball, is a fragment of an Orthodox mass played backwards; the priest is singing in Romanian. I bet someone tried to understand messages from the devil there :).

    I read somewhere that Kubrick said he thought this film might be his best. I can’t say I agree with that idea but I stay happy if Kubrick was very satisfied with the hard work of directing it. Do you think he was murdered for doing this film?
